Let me step back and introduce myself, I'm Pamela and I'm a wife and mom to one amazingly busy boy, living our best life way up North in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada.
In 2016 a wildfire tore through our town and took 10% of the homes, ours included. Luckily, I was on maternity leave at the time and my husband had the day off so we escaped safely. We were displaced for a time and it gave me time to pause and think about how to best use my skills and serve my community. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my corporate jobs in Oil & Gas and Legal but they didn't fill my soul, in fact, I left them feeling unsatisfied, unchallenged and exhausted. That's when it came to me, I could virtually help businesses organize and automate their administrative tasks so they can get back to what gives them joy. I have 20+ years of experience and love a good challenge so why not dive into the next chapter of my career, as a business owner!
I quickly learnt that running a business comes with a pile of administrative work all of my own. For the first bit I tried to do "all the things" and while experienced, it was a juggle. Enter Dubsado... my business world flipped upside down. I was amazed at how much Dubsado freed up my time so I could spend it with my family or explore new offers, training and clients. I felt confident in my processes and systems to the point that I easily take a day off here and there to enjoy life without worry that my business was going to fall apart without me. I no longer lived attached to my laptop and it runs on autopilot. My mission is to share Dubsado with other business owners so they can love life again.

Moving from a macro view of how I wanted to vet and onboard clients to the mirco level made me re-think what my company's value and vision should be. When I was able to hone that view then it made working through the workflows Pamela setup much easier (and faster) for me. My strategy session with Pamela provided not only a roadmap to upgrade and implement my client onboarding experience, but also made me take a deep dive into what I wanted my company values and vision to be. To design great workflows for you, Pamela asks questions to get you to really think about how you want to show up in your business.
